Here at Minibus Manchester we are incredibly proud of our fleet vehicles’. Paul our Events and Fleet Manager has a mass of knowledge in vehicle maintenance. After leaving school he did his apprenticeship with Ford, then moving onto work at BMW until his late 20’s, so we like to think there is nothing you can ask him about vehicle maintenance or vehicle repairs that he wouldn’t know.

All of our minibuses are Ford Transit, and a salon car which is a Ford Mondeo, it’s not a coincidence that all our vehicles’ are Ford. The vehicles’ all have durotorque engines which we keep any needed spares and have full understanding of the design and best way to maintain them, for example at 100,000 miles we will change the timing chain. We have only had one breakdown in the last 5 years that was due to an unavoidable stone entering the fan belt system, we managed to, with the help of our garage team, get the vehicle back onto the road within 40 minutes. We have 10 vehicles’ doing over 50,000 miles per year so we think this must be a record.

Minibuses And Trailers Galore

The fleet consists of the Ford Transit jumbo twin wheel 2.4 115bhp 16 seater minibus, we also have the 140bhp version which is suitable for pulling trailers. The 14 seater minibuses are the Ford Transit lwb 2.4 105bhp these are the single wheel version of the jumbo. We also have 12 seater lwb, and the Ford Tourneo 2.2 with 8 seats fitted and luxury valour trim. The Ford Mondeo is our top of the range taxi, it’s a 1.8 tdci fitted with air conditioning and cruise control. To complement our minibus fleet we also have trailers in various sizes suitable for different uses, such as airport transfers, camping trips etc, our largest trailer will hold sets of golf clubs for your golfing trip.
